Mattresses Direct to Public is a family owned and operated business providing you the best in Mattresses, Motion Beds and more. We operate out of our Mattress showroom in the Melbourne suburb of Kilsyth, Victoria. Our owners Andrew & Karen pride themselves on fulfilling all your mattress needs.

This year we are celebrating twenty one years of designing and supplying Melbourne made mattresses and custom made fabric bed heads and bases to 1000s of happy customers across Australia. Our focus is our customers’ needs and requirements, whilst offering good old fashion service. From the moment you walk in our showroom door to the delivery to your home, you will have the peace of mind that you are being personally looked after. All our local deliveries are delivered by Andrew personally.

Most of our mattress range is always in stock (excluding custom made caravan mattresses) and if it’s not in stock we can fill most orders in less than two weeks. This includes our custom made fabric bed heads and bases. We are passionate about our mattresses and strive to be at the forefront of new technology from our pocket in pocket and 4D quad coil spring systems, which is 80 % stronger than anything on the market; to our exclusive Hemp and organic fabrics, cool touch fabrics and certified open cell foams.

Several mattresses retail stores advertise 50% to 70% off or buy any mattress for the price of a single every day seven days a week so be mindful of large mark ups. We believe it is important to try in-store before purchasing a new mattress. You will have a good idea if the mattresses is to hard, soft or uncomfortable and you will soon tell is the mattress offers the right support fairly quickly.

Most imported “mattress in a box” are advertised as award winning but that doesn’t mean they suit most people and from our experience there is not one mattress fits all options. If you shop around you will find Australian made mattresses are better quality and around the same price.
